Outgoing CEO Garry Merkel will continue working with TNDC in an advisory role to support the transition over the coming months. |

TNDC’s 2016 Community Christmas Party a Festive SuccessHoliday cheer was in the Dease Lake air on Saturday, December 10, 2016. Community members from Iskut to Telegraph Creek to Watson Lake and as far away Smithers and Kitimat got an early visit from Santa for an afternoon of festive fun at TNDC’s 18th annual Christmas party. More than 350 children and adults turned out to kick off the holiday season. This year’s theme was ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’. |

The report provides a snapshot of the state of procurement opportunities for Aboriginal suppliers in Canada’s mining industry. It spotlights relationships between Aboriginal businesses and mining companies, aims to increase Aboriginal supplier involvement and engagement in the supply chain and identify ways both parties can work together for mutual benefit. |
