TNDC WELCOMES DEE GEPPERT AND MARKIESHA BUMPUS TO ITS TEAM

Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) is pleased to welcome two new team members whose roles are critical to advancing TNDC’s operational and partnership goals.

Dee Geppert joins TNDC as Manager, Fleet & Assets, reporting to Taylor Smith, General Manager, Construction. In this role, Dee ensures the efficient, safe and cost-effective management of TNDC’s fleet and equipment to support project delivery and operational success. She brings over 20 years of fleet management experience, including with Finning Canada and various utility and oil and gas companies across Alberta and British Columbia. She joined TNDC on April 28.

Dee holds a trade certificate in Industrial Management and studied economics at Frankfurt University in Germany. Her long-standing passion for heavy equipment has shaped a career focussed on strategic fleet operations.

Markiesha Bumpus has been appointed Partnership Management Specialist, reporting to Calvin Carrick, Vice President – Partnerships. Starting May 5, Markiesha will help oversee a diverse portfolio of partnerships, foster collaboration with Tahltan-owned businesses, and identify opportunities that align with TNDC’s vision.

A proud member of the Tahltan Nation, Markiesha is from the Quock family and part of the Tsesk’iye (Crow) Clan, with deep roots in Iskut and Telegraph Creek. She brings strong experience in business, contract and project management, compliance, and stakeholder engagement, most recently managing subcontractor contracts in civil construction across multiple Canadian projects.

Please join us in welcoming Dee and Markiesha to the TNDC team as we continue to strengthen our capacity to serve our clients and the Tahltan Nation.
