Colleen Cashin Promotion to Vice President of People and CultureTNDC is on a transformational journey in our business to be an Employer of Choice. One strategy to help achieve this goal, is placing greater emphasis on the human element of TNDC – focussing on our people and culture to make TNDC a great place to work. We are committed to developing the TNDC workforce, helping our employees grow their careers, and into leadership roles. In the spirit of this commitment, TNDC is pleased to announce the promotion of Collen Cashin to Vice President of People and Culture, from Human Resources Director. Since assuming the Human Resources Director position in 2021, Colleen has been an instrumental member of TNDC’s senior leadership team. Among her many achievements, Colleen has led development of key initiatives including the inaugural Employee Survey, the TNDC Reward and Recognition Program, and the soon-to-be announced Heavy Equipment Operator Training Program. As Vice President of People and Culture, Colleen will continue to manage the TNDC Human Resources Team and to execute upon TNDC’s HR Strategy, focussing on recruitment and retention, training and development, employee engagement and performance management. In addition, she is tasked with implementing and building programs and initiatives to attract, retain, enrich, and develop our workforce, recognize and reward client service excellence and strong performance, and ensure TNDC is a safe, healthy, respectful and inclusive place to work. Colleen is an accomplished HR professional with more than 15 years of experience and expertise in labour relations, employment relations, and disability claims management, working with the construction and energy industries, labour unions, Indigenous governments and communities, and crown corporations. She holds a Certificate in Human Resources and Labour Relations from Athabasca University, as well as certificates in construction safety and Indigenous Relations. We congratulate Colleen on this well-deserved promotion and wish her continued success in this elevated role.
