Fun and Festivity at the TNDC 2022 Community Christmas PartyIt's a wrap! Thanks to record business partner sponsorship, industry provisions and community contributions, the 22nd Annual TNDC Community Christmas Party, held December 11th in Dease Lake, was a smashing success. In addition to food, games, prizes and gifts for all children and youth who attended, this year’s event included Ugly Sweater and Gingerbread Decorating contests, and a special appearance by Santa! This festive event brings excitement and happiness to children, youth and their families living in our remote Dease Lake, Good Hope Lake, Iskut, Telegraph Creek and surrounding communities. Community members were especially happy to gather for this cherished event, following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. TNDC takes pride in hosting this party each year. What makes this event so special is the Christmas spirit of our partners and local organizations who donate gifts, contribute funds and volunteer time. We were once again overwhelmed this year by the response and generosity. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the following TNDC Partners for making this year’s event such a success: Geotech Drilling (Tahltech Drilling), Jim Dent Construction, Pelly Construction, Central Mountain Air, Progressive Ventures, Arrow Transportation (Tahltan-Arrow Transportation), ATCO Structures, Procon, ERM (Tahltan ERM Environmental Management), Redpath Raiseboring and Allnorth (Tahltan-Allnorth Consultants). In addition, we would like to thank the Dease Lake School 2023 Grad Class, Contact North BC, Newcrest, Rob Prince, Sodexo, and Skeena Resources for your valued contributions.
