TNDC Contributes to Partners’ Fundraising Campaign Helping Sick KidsTNDC is honoured to support the fundraising efforts of two important partners – Mark Adams of Newcrest Red Chris Mining Limited and Clem Pelletier of Seabridge Gold – as they raise funds for the 2021 Mining for Miracles annual Pie Throw fundraising event. TNDC is pledging $10,000 to Mark and Clem to support their fundraising campaigns and looks forward to watching the top fundraiser toss a pie at their competitor during this year’s virtual event. The Mining for Miracles Pie Throw pairs leaders from across the mineral exploration and mining industry in a friendly fundraising competition. Whoever raises the most funds earns the right to publicly pie their competitor in the face, with their family, friends and business networks watching. One hundred percent of funds raised will go towards establishing the BC Children’s Hospital Cellular and Regenerative Medicine Centre (CRMC), which will give clinicians the tools to better understand the genetic cause of heart arrhythmias and provide the best possible care to children. BC Children’s Hospital offers clinics, support services and hospital care to BC and Yukon children and their families. The BC Children’s Hospital is close to the hearts of many Tahltan families, including TNDC employees, who access its vital services each year. TNDC applauds Mark, Clem and the many other BC exploration and mining representatives for stepping up to raise funds for this fun, friendly event to support BC and Yukon sick kids and their families.
