Inspiring Tahltan Youth to Pursue a Medical Services CareerAnthony Morrison, Commercial Director, and Claire Smith, Aboriginal Partnerships Manager, of UnitedHealthcare Global Medical (UHGM), gave Dease Lake youth a glimpse into the fascinating career of medical services during a recent visit to the region. Wanting to expose Tahltan youth to different career paths and possibly spark interest in medical services, TNDC invited Anthony and Claire to speak with the high school students, sharing insight into the field and their personal career paths. |

Tahltan Arrow Begins Hauling Concentrate from Silvertip MineTogether with our partner Arrow Transportation, TNDC has achieved its first contract with JDS Silver’s Silvertip Mine, hauling zinc concentrate via the Tahltan Arrow joint venture. Arrow Transportation is an industry leader in bulk commodity hauling. Under the contract, Tahltan Arrow is hauling two loads a day from the bottom of the mine site west of Watson Lake, near the Yukon-British Columbia border down Highway 37 to Stewart Bulk Terminals in Stewart. This marks the second contract for the Tahltan Arrow partnership; the first is with the Red Chris mine. |

First Tahltech Drilling Project UnderwayTahltech Drilling, TNDC’s partnership with Geotech Drilling Services, is working on its first drilling services contract in Tahltan territory, on Imperial Metals’ Red Chris property. Tahltech is providing hydrogeological and geological drilling services, using sonic drilling methods. |
