TNDC ANNOUNCES DEAN RAWSON AS NEW VICE PRESIDENT, CONSTRUCTION

Tahltan Nation Development Corporation (TNDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dean Rawson as Vice President, Construction, a key leadership change that aligns with TNDC’s strategic plan and positions the corporation for continued growth and operational excellence.

 

This appointment strengthens the corporation’s 2025 strategic plan, aligning with TNDC’s commitment to Building Trust, Building Futures, while advancing its goals of achieving operational excellence and diversifying revenue streams.

 

Dean joins TNDC as VP Construction, bringing more than 30 years of leadership in construction, operations, engineering, and project execution across the pipeline, gas distribution, and mining industries. He has directed multi-billion-dollar capital programs and delivered major infrastructure, pipeline, utility, and mining projects across Canada and the United States.

 

Dean has held senior and executive roles building high-performing teams, strengthening operational capacity, executing on strategy, and delivering complex projects safely, on time, and on budget.


Most recently, he was Director, Engineering, Study and Project Management at Teck Resources. His prior roles included Vice President, Operations and Engineering at Pacific Northern Gas and Apex Utilities, and Director, Mainline Projects at Enbridge.

 

Dean holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a licensed Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC).

 

As Vice President of Construction, Dean will oversee TNDC’s growing construction portfolio, providing strategic oversight on project execution, stakeholder engagement, and team performance. He will guide project delivery, ensure TNDC meets client commitments, and align operations with the organization’s core values.
